Important notes
  • Baluchistan & Kashmir both need NOC and are difficult to get due to terrorism in Baluchistan in Kashmir due to indian dispute working on this one
  • June is one of the hotest month of the year
  • Due to school holidays some areas in north could be crowded
  • Early buying of domestic flight from Islamabad to skardu is advised, usually it gets sold out in peak season
  • Some hotels availability in the north are critical for example in Serena Shigar,Gilgit serena, Eagle nest Hunza , Hindukush heights in chitral, Ayun Villa in ayun all are hot properties during peak season
  • South Pakistan in cities like Bahawalpur and Multan temperature can go up to 45 Degrees
  • Temperatures in north for ex at Deosai national park can drop to 0 at night

  • Khyber pass is subject to the approval of the duty officer on the visiting day please note sometimes according to the law and order situation they turn customers back

  • Visit Jaulian The most beautiful site in Taxila Ruins  where a Buddhist stupa with a vihara (or monastery) and a university on a hill 300 feet above the surrounding country side, they date to the Kushan Era ( Between 1st & 5th Centuries C.E)
  • The Museum at the entrance to the site is the best place to start. It gives an overview of the history of the city, as well as showcasing some of the wonderful finds, including many Buddha statues.
