Sirkap is close to the museum, this site is the second city of ancient Taxila (Taxila II on the maps) and is presently known as Sirkap. Once it was a Greek City when Alexander the great conquered and ruled from here, The Great King of India Ashoka converted to Buddhism when he was governor of Sirkap
- Jaulian
The first site we visited was Jaulian, a Buddhist stupa with a vihara (or monastery) and university on a hill 300 feet above the surrounding countryside. They date to the Kushan Era (between 1st and 5th centuries C.E.)
- Museum
The Museum at the entrance to the site is the best place to start. It gives an overview of the history of the city, as well as showcasing some of the wonderful finds, including many Buddha statues. Photography is not allowed inside.
- Visit Takht Bai –Buddhist Monastery (UNESCO Site 6)

Important notes
- South Pakistan in cities like Bahawalpur and Multan temperature are hotter than Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar in November
- For Female visitor in certain areas Modest attire is requested for Ex in Peshawar
- Khyber Pass is subject to the approval of the duty officer on the visiting day please note sometimes according to the law and order situation they turn customers back
- Hotels in smaller towns are of standard in quality
- ATM Machines are available in almost all cities in Pakistan
- Currency Exchange companies are available in all big cities
- At some sites like Muslim shrines DSLR Cameras are not allowed
- Average cost of meal per Person is about $ 8-10 from a McDonalds deal for a person would cost 6$, average food in smaller town per meal is $ 4-5
