In 1998 than a student Fahd Vohra set out on his first trip to Hunza & fairy meadows to follow in the footsteps of travel writer Isobel Shaw from her famous book Pakistan trekking guide, Captivated by the beauty of Karakorum and Himalayan mountains, people and its culture in the following years fahd travelled far and wide to the remotest corners of the country, trekking in the mountains of Karakorum’s, Himalayas and Hindukush while simultaneously working in corporate sector for 14 years
It was during the trek to K2 base camp he decided to quit as Assistant Vice President of a bank and decided to turn his passion into a career of a tour operator
Rocket tourism was founded in 2016 and started its operations in May 2017
