Kalash Valley comprises of three main sub valleys namely bhumerat, Rumbur & Birir valley located in district of Chitral. All these valleys are encircled in Hindukush Mountain range. People of Kalash Valley belongs to Kalasha Tribe and it is popular belief they fled from neighboring Nuristan province of Afghanistan & settled in this region.
